Get the Look: The Traitors Edition
Updated: 2 days ago
Tartan, tailoring and a touch of treachery. We're taking style inspiration from the most fashionable castle on television.

It's that time again, and we are well and truly hooked on The Celebrity Traitors here at Biscuit! While we're watching the Faithfuls desperately try to work out who's plotting against them, there's something else that's been catching our eye: the fashion, of course.
From Claudia Winkleman's wonderfully eccentric wardrobe to the bold looks being served up by the celebrity cast, the Scottish Highlands have become an unlikely fashion hotspot. Think dramatic silhouettes, oversized knitwear, heritage checks and plenty of countryside chic.
Whether you're plotting your next move at the Round Table or simply heading out for a Sunday roast, we've rounded up our favourite pieces to help you channel a little Traitors style of your own. Cloaks optional.
Mad About Tartan
Nothing says Scottish castle quite like a good bit of tartan, and Claudia certainly knows how to make the most of it. From her red tartan mini kilt paired with an oversized black jumper to her skirt/trouser hybrid and classic tartan midi skirts, she's proving that traditional Highland dressing doesn't have to be traditional at all.
For a look worthy of a seat at the Round Table, we're loving the Another Girl Tartan Buckle Detail Kilt Midi Skirt. Available in red and navy, its traditional checks and buckle detailing give a playful nod to Scottish heritage. Just add a chunky knit, woolly tights and your favourite boots.
The Sophie + Lucie Tirol Cotswolds Checked Jacket is also a brilliant way to embrace the Highland aesthetic. With its structured silhouette, contrasting velvet collar and traditional check, it's the perfect combination of country-house chic and contemporary tailoring.

Fair Isle & Fabulous
If there's one thing Claudia knows how to do, it's wear a good jumper. Her collection of Fair Isle knits has become something of a Traitors signature, and frankly, we're obsessed.
Taking inspiration from her love of statement knitwear, we're particularly taken with the Yerse Greta Chocolate Fairisle Polo Jumper. With its rich chocolate tones and traditional pattern, it's perfect for recreating that cosy castle aesthetic. Pair it with tailored trousers or a pleated wool skirt for a look Claudia herself would approve of.
For those feeling a little more adventurous, our Lolly's Laundry Clare Knitted Cardigans bring a playful pop of colour and pattern, while neutral-toned knits offer a softer take on the trend. And if you're after something a little more understated, the Levete Room Perle Knitted Turtleneck Jumpers, available in chocolate and taupe are a wardrobe staple you'll reach for long after the final banishment. Think relaxed, slightly oversized knits teamed with tailored trousers or flowing skirts, finished with chunky boots.

A Lesson in Layering
Claudia's wardrobe is proof that sometimes the best outfits are all about clever layering. Crisp white shirts peeking out beneath knitted waistcoats, statement collars, unexpected textures and a little bit of drama. It's preppy dressing with a gothic twist, and we're absolutely here for it.
The By-Bar Noby Wine Spencer Knit is just the ticket. Also available in brown, its fluffy texture, rich wine colour and relaxed sleeveless silhouette mean it's practically made for a Claudia-inspired outfit.
For the perfect base layer, we're loving the By-Bar Sarah Short White Cotton Blouse. Its relaxed silhouette makes it ideal for wearing beneath knitwear, while the crisp white fabric creates that lovely contrast Claudia does so well.
If you're feeling a little more adventurous, the Sophie + Lucie Trujillo Harris Camel Waistcoat brings a playful mix of heritage checks and feminine detailing.
The secret? Mix textures, experiment with proportions and don't be afraid to layer something unexpected. After all, playing by the rules has never been Claudia's style!

The Dark Side of Dressing
Let's talk about Claudia's outerwear, because quite frankly, it deserves its own television programme.
From sweeping black capes and edgy oversized coats to dramatic cropped jackets, her wardrobe is a masterclass in making an entrance. And who could forget those bright red gloves? A little gothic, a little theatrical and entirely fabulous. The beauty of this look is that you don't need a full-length cape to embrace it (although we certainly wouldn't judge). It's all about strong silhouettes, dark colours and statement pieces.
The Stella Nova Black Tuxedo Blazer is a brilliant place to start. Pair it with the Stella Nova Black Cropped Mid-Waist Wide Trousers for a head-to-toe look that means business. For something with a little more edge, the Sessun Miley Black Leather Jacket is a timeless investment piece.
And if you're looking for a statement coat, the Yerse Mapi Wine Double-Breasted Coat and Yerse Sully Chocolate Scarf Detail Wool Coat bring all the drama in autumn's richest shades.

Making a Statement
While Claudia's wardrobe is rooted in dark colours, heritage fabrics and cosy layers, she's certainly not afraid of an unexpected detail. From exaggerated silhouettes to playful styling, there's always something that makes you look twice.
For those wanting to embrace a little more drama, look no further than the Sophie + Lucie Pajarita Red Stripe Bow Blouse. With its oversized pussy-bow neckline, bold stripes and puffed shoulders, it's the sort of piece that does all the talking. If you're loving the ruffles, try out the Stella Nova Blue Detachable Ruffle Collar Blouse, for a versatile piece.
And for occasions that call for a little extra glamour, the Stella Nova Black Sequinned Mesh Blouse and matching skirt bring a beautifully dramatic twist to evening dressing. Because who says you can't enjoy a little sparkle in the castle?

The Staple Midi Skirt
If there's one wardrobe staple that deserves a place in the castle, it's the trusty midi skirt. From sweeping pleats and heritage checks to flowing wool silhouettes, Claudia has made a strong case for bringing this timeless classic back into the spotlight.
Whether she's pairing a tartan skirt with a chunky Fair Isle knit or embracing her darker side with dramatic black layers, Claudia proves that the midi skirt is anything but boring. It's all about mixing traditional shapes with unexpected textures and a little attitude.
We're loving the Chalk Hope Charcoal Pleated Wool Skirt for its classic silhouette and effortless versatility. Pair it with an oversized knit and chunky boots for that quintessential countryside look, or opt for the Chalk Tamara Chestnut Wool Skirt to embrace the rich, earthy tones of the Highlands.
For something a little more playful, the JC Sophie Paulette Grey Skirt brings a touch of preppy charm, while the Sophie + Lucie Sara Harris Camel Check Skirt offers a nod to Claudia's love of heritage checks.
